the Bridge

These old steel truss bridges populate the South. The construction is quite straight forward. Each beam is strategically connected to another adding strength and purpose to the whole. I see a similar pattern in the church. Each member strategically joined together, strengthening the whole and making it possible for the traveller to cross out of darkness and into the light.
